Please see below for what you have to do in case of Car Accident,Car Breakdown, puncture happens

１．Car Accident

​

Please call the ‘Police 110’ first before you call the insurance company.

When you call the insurance company “0120-256-110” (Toll-free), please let them know the following:

​

First, there will be a Japanese voice message announced so please wait and hold the line, then you will be connected to the Japanese operator. You can say “English Please (or other language)” then they will organize an interpreter for you.

 

*Note: If there was anyone seriously injured, do call an ambulance first.

 

1. 【Name of the rental car company and Policy number】: Our company name is “Four H Club” and the Policy number.

2. 【Plate number of the car】: Plate number is the plates placed on the front and back of the car. Start with “Kyoto, some numbers, わ(it is written in hiragana and pronounced ‘wa’),  and followed by some more numbers”

​

3. 【Name of the driver】 : Your name

​

4. 【The address of the accident】: If you don’t know the address, you may use the google map on your smartphone. Open the google map app and then, tap the spot where you are. Usually, it will tell the address where you are.

​

5. 【If you reported to the police】: If there is another party involved in the accident you have to report to the police otherwise, you can not claim the insurance cover.

​

6. 【Circumstance of the accident】: Please explain what happened in the accident.

​

7. 【Damage to the rental car】: Any damages and scratches to any part of the car?

★  If there is other party involved in the accident:

8. 【Damage to the other party’s car】: Any damages to the other party’s car?

​

9. 【Name, Address, Phone number and Plate number of the other party】: Please find out other party’s details

​

２．Car Breakdown

​

When you have a car breakdown please call the road assistance “0120-356-110” (Toll-free), and let them know the following:

 

1. 【Name of the rental car company and Policy number】: Our company name is “Four H Club” and the Policy number.

３．When a puncture happens

​

You can call the road assistance “0120-356-110” (Toll-free), and follow the same action as when you have a car breakdown. 

 Please note that puncture is neither accident or car breakdown, as such it is not under the insurance cover. Usually, the cost of an single car tire is between ￥5,000 - ￥10,000.
